RLConvening is for those who envision a human-centered healthcare system built on a foundation of connection and collaboration, in which everyone is seen, heard, and valued. We invite all members of the healthcare community — practitioners, activists, researchers, educators, administrators, students, and learners at all levels — to join us.
Whether you work in a health system, hospital, academic institution, professional association, community health center, or government agency, you'll learn practical strategies and tools to build connection and collaboration across your team that you can put into practice right away. A refund, minus a $75 administration fee, will be issued for cancellations received via email to the conference planning committee at RLConvening@intendhealth.org on or before September 8, 2023. No refunds will be issued after September 8, 2023. As an alternative to cancellation, substitution of registrations is permitted in writing until Wednesday October 4, 2023, by contacting RLConvening@intendhealth.org. Yes! Attendees can earn CME Credit/CEUs - learn more.
We recommend "business casual" attire for RLConvening sessions and breakouts. Wearing flat or athletic/comfortable shoes is encouraged, as attendees will need to navigate stairs and elevators, and some sessions may be held outdoors. Conference rooms are often chilly, so dress in layers for comfort.
The following meals are provided:
- October 11: welcome reception, hors d'oeuvres
- October 12: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
- October 13: breakfast and grab-and-go lunch
All RLConvening presenters must register for the conference. You should have received a "proposal accepted" email with information regarding how to register. If you need the information again, please email RLConvening@intendhealth.org.
All RLConvening presenters receive a discounted conference registration fee. You should have received a "proposal accepted" email containing the discount code. If you need us to send you the discount information again, please email RLConvening@intendhealth.org.
All presenters are responsible for their own travel, hotel, food (outside of meals listed on the agenda), and any other fees associated with presenting at the conference.
There is not an honorarium for presenting. However, all presenters receive a discounted registration fee.
Valet Parking is available at the Starling Hotel.
Charges:
- $49.00 overnight valet for guests of the hotel
- $10.00 daily valet hourly charge, $30.00 maximum
- $65.00 overnight parking oversize vehicles

Each presenter is responsible for printing any handouts they would like to use during their session. From the Starling Hotel, there is a UPS Store a half a mile away, a Staples 2.2 miles away, and a FedEx Office Print & Ship Center 1.9 miles away.
