For Healthcare Students & Emerging Leaders
Our national Student Action Network (SAN) empowers the next generation of providers with the mindset and tools to connect in their relationships in service of achieving a more human-centered healthcare system.
Each spring, interprofessional student-led teams from across the country apply to join our Student Action Network with an action-oriented, longitudinal project to complete. Throughout the academic year, we deliver Relational Leadership training and one-on-one coaching in an experiential learning environment, which in turn supports teams to develop and implement projects at their institutions or in their communities in service of improved healthcare and health.
With support from coaches and faculty advisors, students design and implement community-based projects. They also develop their Relational Leadership skills through quarterly workshops, ongoing coaching sessions, and large-scale community events.
With thousands of participants over the last decade from across all health professions, we’ve ignited a movement that has transformed individuals, teams, and communities. By showing students and faculty how to harness the relational power within themselves and in their connections, we’re working together to tackle complex challenges and achieve success.
